OUR RETURNS POLICY
As well as your statutory cancellation rights, you can return the products you purchased on www.parcelintheattic.co.uk within 30 days of receipt of the products, if the products are in an unused and undamaged condition.
To return an item please visit your Account Order History where you will be able to raise an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) for the order/product you wish to return. Please note that this returns policy doesn't affect your statutory rights and therefore doesn't affect your right of cancellation (also known as “cool off period”) of 30 days of receipt of the products.
You have a legal “duty of care” to take good care of the goods. Cost of return is the responsibility of the buyer (we recommend use of a tracked service and/or keep of despatch receipt). If it is more convenient, we can arrange collection by our couriers, any costs incurred will be deducted from your final refund. We will refund you the full amount paid for the good less any costs to collect the goods, within 15 days of receipt of the item. All returned items must be unused and in their original packaging, including all accessories, instructions manual, etc. If the original packaging is not available, please repack the item using an alternative packaging, making sure it is sufficient to protect the item from damage. Items delivered to the address provided at time of checkout (or other if agreed) but returned to us as "refused delivery", "return to sender" or “undeliverable” will be chargeable at the cost of returning the item back to us and deducted from the total refund. Charge is subject to delivery service used. Customers are liable for any additional postage and packaging costs.
If the return is due to faulty item, then we will offer a full refund including the cost of return (or collection). A replacement item can be offered at our discretion. Photos will be required as proof of . Items will be collected from the original delivery address, unless we are notified of a change of address, in writing. Failure to supply correct collection information or the collection is attempted but unsuccessful due to goods not suitably prepared and packaged for transit, may result in additional carriage surcharge costs, liable to the customer. This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights. After 30 days of receipt of the goods, acceptance of any return will be made at our discretion.
DAMAGED, FAULTY, MISSING OR INCORRECT GOODS RECEIVED
Goods must not be assembled until you are satisfied that all parts are present and in satisfactory condition. Ensure all parts are checked against the parts list in the assembly manual (depending on the product) prior to assembly. Ensure the goods are thoroughly inspected before accepting and signing for your consignment. In the unlikely event that you receive a defective item, damaged in transit, parts found missing or the incorrect goods received, you must notify us in writing within 48 hours of receipt. Photos will be requested as proof. If damage to the parcel is noticed when parcel is received, a note should be made with the delivery courier. If you receive a faulty or damaged product we will arrange for the collection of the item and either replace/repair the item or offer a full refund into the original means of payment at our discretion. As company policy, we will always offer to replace the affected part - a replacement part will be sent to you accordingly to replace the damaged/faulty/missing part. You will then receive instructions on what to do with the damaged/faulty part. Failure to supply correct collection information or the collection is attempted but unsuccessful due to goods not suitably prepared and packaged for transit, may result in additional carriage surcharge costs, liable to the customer.
This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
